Dr Trevor Hudson qualified in 1962 from Cambridge and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He started in General Practice in 1966, outside the NHS, in Central London where he has lived ever since.
He trained under Lord Hunt of Fawley who was cofounder of the Royal College of General Practitioners and later, moved into single handed practice. Now he is working on a more limited basis and is researching for a PhD on auto-immune disease.
Other commitments include being medical adviser to the Musicians Benevolent Fund, the Trinity College of Music where he is an Honorary Fellow, the Church of England Pensions Board, the Friends of the Elderly, and the Royal United Kingdom Beneficent Association.
He has retained a broad interest and open approach to the understanding and treatment of illness.
